Unsaved people act like unsaved people. And people who criticize unsaved people for acting like unsaved people rather than finding ways to engage that culture?
Why is that happening?
Unsaved people act like unsaved people And people who criticize unsaved people for acting like unsaved people?
Sara! You nailed it!! Was working on some sermon notes along that line - awesome.
Was thinking, why do we get angry at a blind man for stumbling over and over. We're angry at his stumbling, but never see the blindness.
You are right...we have lost focus and no longer see each person by the spiritual insight they have. (more interested in wealth, fame, looks, power and position for judging how much I want that person as a friend model)
Like my pastor said one time...why get mad at the sinner for doing what he knows best? why not get angry at the Christian for NOT doing what he knows is best?
Reply:I don't "act" like anything. I am. Thanks for the condecension though.
Reply:Ummm... Unsaved people act like people. So do saved people.
Or do you harbor under the illusion that being "saved" makes one superior to others morally, ethically, or temperamentally? Because if you do, that sounds a lot like some serious delusional ethnocentrism.
Reply:When we feel surrounded with these influences we all react in different ways !!! Especially if we feel protective of our children !!!
Reply:how does an unsaved person act may I ask ?
and in pointing out that unsaved people act a certain way , then you are one of those who criticise unsaved people are you not ?
Reply:You're right, they should be engaging them, not casting them away
Saved people are no different than unsaved people... that is my experience
Reply:Quite a generalization you've got there.... Do you get out much?
