Why do people consider this racist?

So I've grown up in Iowa. Yeah, there are mostly white people. But anyways; I'm not racist, I just don't like the way that some black people are, you know.. the gangster, women=hoes, fighting everyone, being really loud and everything. I know this isn't ever black person and I'm deffiantly not generalizing this or being racist in any way, shape, or form. I don't like things about people in every race. But say that white people acted like some of these black people, I wouldn't like them either. Yet, I can't freely choose not to like them without people being all "racist!" When I have nothing against that race of people, or any race of people for that matter. It's just that I feel all the people who think it's cool to shoot people, sell drugs, and make my neighborhood dangerous are really unintelligent and annoying.








By the way, no comments telling me I'm racist.

Why do people consider this racist?
ur not racist at all. im exactally the same as you. don't like the slang language, fighting, loitering etc. I honestly think you can generalise it to a certain race, but you must remeber that it is not a true and definate trait that makes up a races genepool, simply a way that a group of personalities chose to be.
Reply:Maybe you're just a victim of your area's demographics. I'm from a big multi-cultural city (Toronto), and I assure you that the "gangsta" crap goes beyond all ethnic and social backgrounds. There are lots of upper-middle class white boys running around up here pretending to be from the "hood". It's not an ethnic thing, it's social. It's society's current form of anti-establishment behaviour.

Reply:OK so your not being racist, your just stereotyping and there is a difference. But to answer your question, people are different they arnt all like you or hold the same beliefs or morals and ideas as you do.

Reply:youre forgetting all the other people who act this way, its true that in an ignorant person's mind that the blacks dominate violence, gangsters and ghetto fights in the streets. but mexicans, whites and even asians do the same freaken thing. the same thing is happening in Japan, ive seen asian girls fight each other in the streets. and guess what? the majority of girl fights on youtube are always white. what about porn! and animal porn and all those freaky things. not to mention Girls gone wild!! so yea, i wish people would stop targetting blacks, thats why america is so freaky silly and empty minded. instead of saying "man i can't stand the way some black people act when it comes to gangsters." instead you say "i hate people who engage in this way" becuase again, its not just BLACKS!!!
Reply:You have a right to you're own opinion...it's a free country. There are just has many white people who act this way. I live in Louisiana...I know this to be true. Just because you see "black" people on TV most of the time acting this way doesn't mean you should hate on them. If you live in Iowa and as you say mostly white people live in your area, how do you know what types of people really live in this world. In other words, are you basing your opinion on fact in your own experiences or by what you see on TV?





I would just like to caution you that you shouldn't necessarily let the world know that you don't like "loud and obnoxious black people", but you should let the world know that you cannot stand stupidity and ignorance from any and all races. Maybe that's the direction this whole country should go?
