Why do people dislike SGI?

Are people scared because the chanting sounds menacing? If so, keep in mind that they are basically 'praying' out loud, for world peace.


SGI members are people who believe, concieve, achieve, and promote peace. They tell others to chant because they believe it helps, so they want to spread their happiness to others. Everyone has a different view of how to achieve success and these people only want to share their way with the world. There are people who mention bad things SGI members do, but could you name just one large group of people who hasn't had even one black sheep in the herd? How can people make a few of these people represent everyone? Can you say that Chinese people are all dangerous because one of them threatened you before? Aren't people generally dangerous; Why does it have to be "Soka Gakkai" members? They have not committed murders in the name of the Buddha, sacrificed animals/humans, nor started Holy Wars. they just tried to help.

Why do people dislike SGI?
personally, i don't dislike sgi .... entitled to ur own beliefs, just like i am .......... i will always enter a debate, of course, based on my knowledge and experience only - but i would never insult ur beliefs or ur honest proposals and wishes





by the way, people dislike my religion too (islam) because extremists who like to call themselves muslims (while in fact they're not) have brought a bad image to it - what can i do to improve it? ........ by saying ''i love u all and be blessed'' (and accept getting thumbs down and being reported of ''insulting other participants'' for that)
