Why people always blaming rap??

my brother just came outta nowhere and said its rappers like 50 cent faults that all this is going on today...like kids wearing chains and doing stupid dances..





my question is...what did rap do to you people?? rap never killed nobody...sure it had a couple of corny lyrics about killing people..so?? people always blaming rap like its raps fault..did people ever stop to think for like 1 second that maybe its the parents fault..arent parents supposed to teach children whats right and whats wrong..all rap does is tell people to do some dances and get money..so now its a problem when people make songs about making money..





people acting like its only rap..what about that heavy metal talking about stabbing people and cutting your arms and feeling depressed?? its probly cuz the black man or woman is rapping...why it gotta be rap??

Reply:The sentence "rap never killed nobody" is a double negative. Maybe rap killed the English language, did a drive by on a few dictionaries....sorry I am in a funk today.
Reply:I'm not saying that Rap Artists are 100% guilty here, but they do set a poor example for the youth today. Many other entertainers all across the industries do the same, but I think that Rap Artists are glorified for this and have more people trying to emulate them.

rap is probably one of the most popular music genre right now. and people who are growing up or whatever like to look up to things. most rappers rap about drug dealing, killing, making money, hos, and all that.. so they look up to them and try to be the same.


so kids who listen to rap look up to those rappers as role models and try to do the same thing...thinking it's cool. when it's not. most rappers are bad role models, but not all.


be yourself and not some robot or sheep.


be a black sheep. ;)
Reply:Everyone knows that gun's don't kill people, rappers do. I saw it on a documentary on BBC2.





Also everyone knows that metal is responsible for goths, and goths are responsible for school shootings. But not that much else. Just killing sprees, strangely.
