On the other-hand no, because if someone asks "What is the population of California?" That is a really simple question that the asker could have just as easily typed that into google and found out the answer (Top of the search results =%26gt; "California — Population: 33,871,648 ... ") and so a simple cut and paste suffices for a simple question.

People are so rude to muslim people?
Hi, im christian, and i have met amazing muslim people throughout my ears, i dont understand why people criticize them so much. I know a lot of christians who converted to islam because the religion is so true and powerful. There are goods in bads in everyone. There are a lot of christian terrorists who kill people all the time. Us christians are the most rude and racist in the world. NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE BAD. There are some and some aren't. Get out of your house and stop watching tv, and look around. Why are christians of their own choice converting to islam? Most muslim people living here in the US are very tolerant due to all thats been happening. I know us christian people are to ignorant to tolerate anything thrown at us. You people need to stop listening to the media and get your *** of the couch and see the real world in a real perspective.

Why are people's views so contradictive on issues?
I just wanted to vent a little bit, and also find out how other people felt, and why people are like this.
1. Gay Marriage - Why do people say "It's a sin to be gay?". Isn't it a sin to have sex before marriage too, wether you are gay or straight? People only want to use the parts of the bible that benefit them or their argument. If gay people are sinners, then so are the majority of people in this world who lost their virginity before marriage, so what makes you any better than them?
Abortion - Why are people against abortion, but are for the death penalty? If GOD is the only one who has a right to take a person's life, then how is it ok for the government to decide when someone should die? I understand that babies are innocent, but you best believe that there are innocent people on death row too!
I know you can't tell someone how they should feel, but I just think people should be more consistent with their views.

Why do people believe black people don't have social anxiety or see counselors?
Most people, not all, stereotype black people as always being loud and aggressive. That's not true for everyone. People are individuals. Yes I grew up around black people who were this way, which made it difficult for me since I have social phobia. But I am living proof that black people can be socially anxious.
I have not met any black people who have admitted they were socially anxious, but I have met people who were white, asian, or other ethnicities who have. Even in the support groups online, I have not met ONE other black person who openly talks about it. I've asked a few times, and no one black ever responded.
I feel like the only black person suffering from this.
Another thing, why does the black community say black people don't go to counselors? It's bad enough I have social anxiety, being black and socially anxious makes it worse.

Also maybe there's a cultural reason why they feel less willing to admit to mental illnesses. However I think that you are putting too much stock into who has what. Don't worry so much about that. Focus on your own treatment and goals. When it comes down to it, all that matters is that YOU get better. Black or white, you can seek peer support from anyone else that has social anxiety. Reply:All cultures have there own personal medical ailments that they deal with for example: African Americans are prone to Sickle Cell Anemia and hypertension. Hispanics - diabetes. Indians and asians - alcholism. Not to say that a white man cant have sickly cell anemia, I am only giving you common stats. When you get into mental ailments you are correct -african americans wouldnt get the same type of ailments as a caucasion etc - or at least they wouldnt be as prone to them. I dont have the stats in front of me as far as social phobia is concerned. But, I would have to agree with you - I believe social phobia affects mostly white men and women.

I'm white but I've sat %26amp; talked w/many blacks at the therapist's office etc.but regardless of race alot of people "feel dirty" or "quilty" if they tell anyone so they hide it %26amp; the only person getting hurt is themselves. I have phobias %26amp; my black girlfriends suffer likewise plus again I've spoken w/male %26amp; female patients who're really suffering badly from these phobias so we exchanged info. I've been disabled for 20 yrs due to anxiety/panic attacks,depression %26amp; PHOBIAS %26amp; for 1st time moving to NYC to go into entertainment so please don't let anything stand in your way as you can overcome anything if you want it enough %26amp; trust in God. I dont have the stats in front of me as far as social phobia is concerned. But, I would have to agree with you - I believe social phobia affects mostly white men and women.

I'm white but I've sat %26amp; talked w/many blacks at the therapist's office etc.but regardless of race alot of people "feel dirty" or "quilty" if they tell anyone so they hide it %26amp; the only person getting hurt is themselves. I have phobias %26amp; my black girlfriends suffer likewise plus again I've spoken w/male %26amp; female patients who're really suffering badly from these phobias so we exchanged info. I've been disabled for 20 yrs due to anxiety/panic attacks,depression %26amp; PHOBIAS %26amp; for 1st time moving to NYC to go into entertainment so please don't let anything stand in your way as you can overcome anything if you want it enough %26amp; trust in God. Why do people dislike SGI?
Are people scared because the chanting sounds menacing? If so, keep in mind that they are basically 'praying' out loud, for world peace.
SGI members are people who believe, concieve, achieve, and promote peace. They tell others to chant because they believe it helps, so they want to spread their happiness to others. Everyone has a different view of how to achieve success and these people only want to share their way with the world. There are people who mention bad things SGI members do, but could you name just one large group of people who hasn't had even one black sheep in the herd? How can people make a few of these people represent everyone? Can you say that Chinese people are all dangerous because one of them threatened you before? Aren't people generally dangerous; Why does it have to be "Soka Gakkai" members? They have not committed murders in the name of the Buddha, sacrificed animals/humans, nor started Holy Wars. they just tried to help.

personally, i don't dislike sgi .... entitled to ur own beliefs, just like i am .......... i will always enter a debate, of course, based on my knowledge and experience only - but i would never insult ur beliefs or ur honest proposals and wishes
by the way, people dislike my religion too (islam) because extremists who like to call themselves muslims (while in fact they're not) have brought a bad image to it - what can i do to improve it? ........ by saying ''i love u all and be blessed'' (and accept getting thumbs down and being reported of ''insulting other participants'' for that)

Since people are ALWAYS complaining about the whole popularity and racial problems with teens...?
I have decided to put a stop to it.
I am a 13 year old teenage girl.
I hate how people at my school tend to stick with others of their own race just to fit in.
I hang with all different kinds of people, and I think it's stupid how people try to form little racial cliques.
I would like everyone to notice that popular or unpopular, within your race, or not, we can all get along.
So I came up with this plan:
I am going to introduce the 'populars' to the 'average' people.
I know they can all get along. They are just afraid to.
So...
how do you think I could go about doing this? I am going to start next year in eighth grade, because it is the end of the school year. I am already getting known (I always had potential to be 'popular', but now I go out of my way. That's why people know me all of a sudden), but do you have any other ideas to how I could meet more people next year?
The more 'popular' I am, the more people I can influence to learn to be friends with different people.
Since people are ALWAYS complaining about the whole popularity and racial problems with teens...?
Join more clubs or sports teams so you can meet different types of people also. Try sitting with different people everyday. As you said people hangout in groups talk to maybe one or two people from each group. That way they can tell their friends about you. I totally agree with you on the subject too. Good Luck : )

Where to meet decent people?
i want to meet new people but how..? :S
there isnt really much oppurtunity to.. i go out quite a bit but where can you actually meet decent people?
school - seen the same people for about 5 years.
town - *mostly* chavs/commoners there.
night clubs - *mostly* chavs/sl*ts/horny people, who forget people they were with the next morning.
gym - sweaty, smelly people. *mostly* fat people trying to loose weight or really c0cky, confident annoying people.
cinema - you dont really meet people..
restaurants - you dont really talk to people other than who you went with
INTERNET - people who add me are usually perves. ):
beach - only decent place.. but what about in the winter? like right now..
so yeah, how can we meet new people?

Reply:God your not easy to please are you.Its whats on the inside that counts, may be you shouldn't generalise quite so much.Try the moon, plenty of space and very peaceful. Hope you find that perfect partner, if there is one.

So what is your definition of a “decent” person?
I would suggest that decent people do not have prejudices and enjoy meeting all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds: if you want to meet truly decent people maybe you need drop your preconceptions about human beings.

I think you could also try places like bowling alleys, and social activity places like that as you will find "groups" of people, often go as a group and there are loads of people you can meet! you could maybe even see what they are like around their friends for example :) i dont know lol. Just an idea.
