WHy do people have to be ignorant?

1)Why do people have to be rude about ideas?

2)Why do people refer to books that have been read and believed and not believed?

3)Why do people assume that I have not read them?

4)Why do people assume that i have to believe the books?

5)Why do people believe people who can't tell you definately if there is other life in the universe but believe them when they say there is no God?

6)Why won't people believe that they should get out of the religion and spirituality section and hop over to the science and mathematics? Is it because they didn't understand what the educated people were talking about?

Why do people have to be ignorant?

Sorry if I aks to many questions, or if i lost anybody, please really stop and think about these and answer honestly.

WHy do people have to be ignorant?
If you pay close attention to ignorance, I don't think they can help it. They don't seem to know their ignorant, I've come to the conclusion it's a mental disorder.

We're all dumb about somethings in life because we haven't learned how to do it, or the right way.

We all have the ability to be stupid, we know better sometimes but do wrong anyway.

But ignorance is like dumb but with the inability to know or fix it, and without the ability to fix it I say it's a learning disorder. But they would be in denial of it as well as they are of everything. Sad but true.

Intelligent people are open minded, they believe the possibility of everything until proving different. Ignorant people don't believe anything til it's proving so, and even then they'll question it to death. Ignorance and denial go hand in hand.
Reply:So many choose to be ignorant of the real world, feeling all nice and cozy wrapped up in their religion like a warm blanket, muttering "it's not real, it's not real" when confronted with scientific fact.
Reply:"5)Why do people believe people who can't tell you definately if there is other life in the universe but believe them when they say there is no God?"

Law of probability. We assume that life must exist on other planets, because life exists HERE, and there are trillions and trillions of planets, so put the pieces together and it's a good guess to make. We have no reason to believe that any deity exists other than "faith," which isn't evidence.
Reply:Please try again - one question at a time.
Reply:Well, lemme take #5 --

If there is "intelligent" life in, say, the Andromeda Galaxy, does Jesus have to get crucified again and again to make the same point to an emerging sentient species? Does God have to have another "immaculate conception" with Xena from Planet X?
Reply:They're ignorant, as you said.

Just ignore their stupidity.
Reply:People do not HAVE to be ignorant...

They CHOSE to be ignorant.
Reply:Wah!!!
Reply:1 People have to be ignorant, so they can learn.

2 They refer to books because it's less risk than using their own thoughts, and they are afraid others wont understand them.

3 They assume you haven't read books, because you don't look learned and/or conformist.

4 They are desperate for you to agree to the ideas in the same books so they can get a mental "anchor." Otherwise, your freedom just freaks them out. They want thrill, but no danger.

5 Same as above. The question of whether or not God exists and what God thinks of them is scary to most. Fear just dominates the quest to rid oneself of ignorance.

6 I didn't get to this section on purpose. Buttons on a calculator and limits on religous thoughts function the same. They are just ideas that help us sort concepts. More buttons and less limits for the smater folks; and the opposite for idiots.

May I please have a "best answer" now. I really tried to be good.

Peace out!
