Are beautiful people more popular? Are people more attracted to beautiful persons, men and women alike?

I have often wondered if people are more attracted to beautiful

persons just because they're beautiful. Is it a sexual attraction?

Do people like to be in the company of beautiful people, be seen

with beautiful people, have beautiful people as friends.

When someone beautiful or handsome comes into a room,

everyone turns to look.

Many people think that if they become beautiful , people will

come to them like a moth to a lightbulb. This happenned to

Marilyn Monroe. She knew the value of beauty, and kept many

beauty secrets.

Are beautiful people more popular? Are people more attracted to beautiful persons, men and women alike?
Yes! Sadly its tru..People are just drawn to people who are attractive. One time i seen this show and they where trying to see who people where more drawn to and would people help an unattractive person. Well the studies show that people would pick up an attractive hitch hiker and kids liked the attractive teacher. Unfortuneatly thats just how life is..♥
Reply:yes but beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Reply:first impressions always work until you see the real person sad but true
Reply:yes, ppl are more attracted to beautiful people.
Reply:You don't have to be beautiful to be attractive. Your mannerisms, ability to converse, put most people at ease when meeting for the first time, will undoubtedly win you more bouquets, than the most beautiful girlie on the block or blonde in the town, or, the movies.
Reply:I guess that is how it is.

What is on the outside attracts. But if you note, it is not always good looks; it may be how well one carries oneself and the clothes you chose.

It is always how you project to others. Your personality rather than good looks. Any look gets converted to "good" as you carry it.

Everyone is beautiful. It is in the eyes of the beholder.
Reply:everyone is unique and beautiful in their own ways...noone is ugly...i believe being popular is not fun because you have to be beautiful 27/7 to 'not get thrown out of the group or to just fit in'
Reply:u can say that again!
Reply:Everyone loves beauty.

That's why there is art, fashion, and design.

Not only is it just being beautiful, but YOUNG and BEAUTIFUL.

Humans are visual creatures. So, the desire for visual beauty is a basic part of human existence.

Reply:yes certainly
Reply:Hey. Who doesn't like to look at a pretty face or a handsome man? Image is the god of love. People can't help themselves. And it is held up for all to see. It doesn't mean pretty people are better or nicer, or anything...they are just pretty. I know enough very attractive men and women to tell you they are not kinder or more compassionate. Their insides DO NOT match their exterior facade. So it's a good thing they're cute, 'cause otherwise no one would even give them a second chance.

Marilyn Monroe was pitiful insecure, addicted natured type of person who's looks inevitable couldn't save her from herself.

I truly believe the old axiom:

" Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder."

Or, "Beauty's only Skin Deep. Ugly's all the way to the Bone!" lol.
Reply:yes that's how fickle the world is unfortunately you have to be beautiful to be accepted.
Reply:well it is true that the (physically)attractive get quick attention from everyone but ultimately its the inner beauty which matters....beauty is something which is very tough to define and varies from one to another.....you might call this person beautiful but someone else might call him/her ugly..........these days beauty has become something which anyone or everyone can have by just owning a heavy purse (overflowing with money) and visiting a plastic surgeon......so the beauty of beauty is lost

although being beautiful can do wonders to one's confidence....people should realise that beauty is not the only solution for leading a great and happy life....we should be happy with what we have...

its a person's attitude which actually makes him/her beautiful and not the appearance
