Why do people let criminals talk them into believing that people who try to arrest them are bad?

I mean, criminals are people who have done something wrong to another person, and they are people who are willing to hurt other people with any necessities nearby, so why does society make a big deal out of criminals being bashed by cops? If you ask me, I think the criminal getting bashed to the ground by cops for doing something wrong, getting handcuffs put on him, and being put into a jail cell, so that people on the street who would like to kill him can't kill him sounds a lot better to me, than being put back out on the streets for people to eventually kill him (because people out on the streets who are after him are not worried about whether they will hurt his little legs or arms, while they are bashing him to the ground-seems kind of ironic, huh?

So, why do people fall for the non-sensical belief that criminals are deprived and that they should be treated exceptionally well by cops, when the rest of humanity would crush him, if this criminal messed with them?

Why do people let criminals talk them into believing that people who try to arrest them are bad?
I wish more people like you sat in jury on criminal cases.

2 Tim 3:13 -- But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
