Before I start ranting about the way I am mad at some people I would like to state that I am not racist...I think black people should have the same rights as white people AND the same standards to be held to...


-Don Imus - Just because he said something about black people does not mean he needs to be fired and attacked....The black activists should mind their buisness and stay out of other peoples battles...


-WET? I don't think so ...but BET is plenty acceptable...


-Holding white people to higher standards and jumping on every remark they make is not the way to end diversity...It is only making it worse, It is a cheap move and I for one will not accept it....


Please post things about any race you want that makes you mad...this is not just about black people and its not just about any other race...Discuss what some people are allowed to do and say and what some aren't...

They should have these seperate things because they have invented and introduced new cultures that are very much a part of America. And you know what? They aren't telling us we can't listen to rap or endulge in their culture just because we're white, asian, etc. They share their inventions with us very generously with little racism involved.





Maybe the reason you're seeing all these white people be jumped on by African Americans is because they're using a words or phrases they had invented to demeen and degrade african americans 100 years ago or so.

Reply:BET is owned by Viacom along with MTV. I wouldn't be against a Black station though. Why does anyone think we want to watch programs of other cultures 24/7? It's not racist to show positive images of your group. TVone has potential, but re-runs aren't gonna cut it.
