People Eating People?

Well ever heard of the (true) story where people were stuck on a mountain in the alpes and had nothing to eat but dead human meat(the people who died in a crash). They get hungry have nothing to eat and decide to eat the meat of the people who died on the crash in order to live.





Well does anyone have an answer thats in the bible or closely related as to wither it's ok or not to eat the meat of those people. I personally would rather die then eat a person but it would ease my mind to have a yes or no answer.

-it's fine because it's flesh and it will just become dust anyways


-*That's nasty!


-*If that person has aids or something don't do it.

right now I could say that I would definatly not.


But who knows what would happen if you got that hungry.


I'm sure God doesn't smile upon it, but i know he'd forgive you in those circumstances.


I think I'd rather die though personally, or even eat plants or dirt that was in the area.

A similar incident occcured happened in Donner Pass in february of 1847. Report It

Reply:Yes I would. I am not saying that I would be proud or that I would be happy about it, but if it meant living or dieing I choose life.

Reply:There is a mentallity that goes along with cannibalism -- it is usually the weak minded. Remeber though that these men could eat or starve to death. They did not eat it because of a like for human flesh. Even Domeer repented for his cannibalism. I do not have scripture I will edit my answer later with it.

Reply:In an emergency situation, where a person has left his body behind on the EARTH for good(what we call death), it would be O.K. if you could do it. But remember, thou shall not kill!!!!!!

Reply:The bible doesn't really cover the issue, so I don't think that it condemns what they did. They did what they had to do.


I bet that they thought they'd rather die in those circumstance until it actually occurred, and ended up starving to death. I believe that we never truly know how we'll act until l things happen.
